Still of the film, from left to right: Miguel Hidalgo, Josefa Ortiz, El Pipila.

"Viva Méjico!" is an upcoming project that centers around the social and armed conflict that started in 1810 in Mexico, with the liberal ideas of Miguel Hidalgo, a priest from Dolores, Guanajuato.
One of his followers, Josefa Ortiz was locked in her room by her husband Miguel Domínguez. She signaled the town mayor, Ignacio Pérez and advised him to warn Miguel Hidalgo and others about the search her husband was conducting in order to find rebel conspiracies.
El Pipila, was also a prime figure, he was a miner of Guanajuato and he helped Hidalgo to burn the Alhondiga de Granaditas, where rich Spaniards were hiding.
