Announced today, but planned since 2009, Quintero-Castro Studios' future release of the unusual epic set in a farming village in Mexico during Porfirio Diaz's presidency. The new drama is strongly based on the oral tradition of the life of Timotea Barbosa, passed down to her daughter Zeferina, and then passed down to Anastacia her daughter and Timotea's granddaughter. The film centers on Timotea's early life, and her choice between her true love and the inheritance of her father. It will be directed by Valente Q. Castro, and starred by Isabela Castres as Timotea.
