Originally the Studios' first short film, Lego Ma and Pa Kettle: Back on the Farm was filmed during the year 2009 and subsequently released through YouTube in November of 2010. Innovative for its creative use of live-action cinematography, the film commemorates and is a version of the classic comedy film, Ma and Pa Kettle Back on the Farm (1951). Prior to the film's official release, the Studios had previously made two Lego Ma and Pa Kettle shorts, therefore the film's was also known as Back on the Farm.
